We are Bec and Kim, two Australian friends who have been traveling together for nearly a decade. Our shared love for exploring the world has taken us to countless cities and over 25 countries, each journey enriching our lives with unforgettable experiences.
Our story begins with a mutual passion for travel and adventure. From our first trips across Australia to international journeys, we’ve always found joy in discovering new places and immersing ourselves in different cultures. Our travels have allowed us to taste amazing food, meet incredible people, and truly understand the beauty of diverse experiences.
In 2022, we traveled to Chicago for the first time, and it was love at first sight. The city’s vibrant energy, stunning architecture, and rich cultural scene captivated us. We spent our days exploring its iconic landmarks, indulging in deep-dish pizza, and making friends with locals who shared their favorite hidden gems. Chicago quickly became a special place for us, a testament to the magic that happens when you step out of your comfort zone and embrace the unknown.
Our dynamic as a travel duo is one of the things that makes our journeys so special. Bec is a super Type A planning nerd who meticulously plans every aspect of our trips. From researching the best accommodations and crafting detailed itineraries to ensuring we don’t miss out on any must-see sights, Bec’s planning prowess ensures our travels are smooth and stress-free. On the other hand, Kim perfectly balances Bec’s meticulous planning by bringing the vibes.
