Mitsis Rodos Village Review: A Rhodes All-Inclusive Resort

Hey fellow travelers! We just got back from an amazing stay at the Mitsis Rodos Village in Kiotari, Rhodes, and we’re bursting to share all the details with you. This all-inclusive resort has everything you need for a relaxing and fun-filled holiday. So, let’s dive into our laid-back review of the Mitsis Rodos Village!

Location and Property

First things first, the resort is located in the charming Kiotari, right across the road from the beach. It’s just under an hour from the airport and the main port of Rhodes, including the Rhodes old town. There are plenty of stops and things to do along the way if you want to make a day of it.

The property is huge and part of it is freshly renovated. The newly renovated rooms are fantastic! We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a private pool suite with an ocean view, and let me tell you, it was beyond amazing. Each private pool suite has different shaped and sized pools, which is pretty fun. There are also semi-private/shared pool suites that still manage to feel quite private.

The resort is built into the cliffs and stones of the south of the island, adding so much charm. Even though the area was affected by the recent fires in 2023, it doesn’t distract from the beauty of the hotel itself.

Our Room

Let’s talk about our room – we were upgraded to a private pool suite with a stunning ocean view, and it was everything we dreamed of and more. The suite was spacious and beautifully decorated, with modern amenities and a comfy bed. The patio area was perfect for lounging, and our private pool was the highlight. We spent countless hours there, soaking up the sun and enjoying the breathtaking view of the ocean. Each of the private pool suites seems to have different shaped and sized pools, which adds a fun, unique touch to each stay.

Dining and Drinks

Let’s talk about the food – because, wow! The buffet had different themes every night, keeping things exciting. We hit up the buffet twice, once for an Italian night and once for an Asian night, and both were delicious with more options than you could ever try. The a la carte restaurants were a bit hit or miss. The burger and souvlaki places were fantastic, but the Asian one didn’t quite hit the mark for us.

Breakfast at the buffet was a delight, with plenty of seating inside and out. The resort has two indoor bars with patio seating, one of which has stunning ocean views and stays open late. The cocktail menu is extensive. They even have a full spritz menu and a Negroni menu – super fun! Though, I won’t lie, the Negroni I had wasn’t great, but the cucumber spritz was refreshing and delicious.

Pools and Beach

There are several pools to choose from, including two newly renovated outdoor pools. One of these is an infinity pool with an incredible ocean view. There’s also a pool bar accessible from the top pool. One small gripe – it can be tough to find available sunbeds because people reserve them early, even though they’re not supposed to. We didn’t have this issue since we had our private pool.

For families, there’s a kids’ splash park, another large pool on the lower level, and an indoor spa pool. Despite being kid-friendly, we never felt overwhelmed by children, which was nice. The beach across the road has a pizza bar and chairs for lounging, but we were too busy enjoying our private pool to check it out.

Entertainment and Extras

The resort offers nightly entertainment at its beautiful amphitheater, adding a fun element to our evenings. One of the best things about Mitsis Rodos Village is the food availability – there’s always something to eat, 24/7, which is great for those late-night cravings.

There’s also a really nice gym area with an indoor/outdoor setup. Admittedly, in the summer, the thought of an outdoor workout isn’t exceptionally appealing, but the option is there.

Final Thoughts

Overall, our stay at Mitsis Rodos Village was fantastic. The newly renovated areas are beautiful, the food is great, and the staff are fantastic – always helpful and full of character. We had so many great conversations and laughs with the staff.

Is it ultimate luxury? No, but it’s excellent value for money and has amenities to suit most. If you’re planning a trip to Rhodes, we highly recommend checking out Mitsis Rodos Village. You can find more information and book your stay at Mitsis Rodos Village. Happy travels!
