Two Amazing Wine Bars in Lindos, Greece
Hey fellow wine lovers! It’s Bec here, and I’ve got to share our latest finds from our trip to Rhodes, Greece. Kim and I are absolutely smitten with wine and finding the cutest wine bars wherever we go. During our exploration of the island, we stumbled upon the charming town of Lindos. Let me tell you, it’s a gem! With its stunning whitewashed buildings climbing up the mountain, overlooking the ocean, and the majestic acropolis perched on top, Lindos is picturesque perfection.
Wine Bar One: San Marco Lindos
On our first morning in Lindos, we were wandering around and happened to walk past an alleyway where we spotted an adorable boutique store. Naturally, we had to go in. Inside, we met a lovely lady who worked there and had a fantastic chat. The store was filled with incredible accessories, mostly locally sourced – bold jewelry, beautiful bags, and stylish shoes. The actual store was partly built into a rock face with an amazing courtyard out front.
During our chat, she mentioned a new wine bar upstairs that was opening later that day. Intrigued, we decided to come back and check it out. And wow, were we glad we did! The view was unbelievable, directly overlooking the acropolis. It was very insta-worthy yet still classic and authentic. The front outdoor area had gorgeous tables and enough shade to keep you cool (as much as possible in the summer heat, haha).
The wine list was amazing, featuring some fantastic cheeses and cold cuts to pair with our drinks. The staff were absolutely wonderful, and we ended up chatting with them for hours. San Marco Lindos is a hidden gem, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy streets but still completely central and easy to find. We loved it so much that we came back the next day because we just couldn’t help ourselves.

Wine Bar Two: Kava Kantina
On our way up from the beach early one morning, we walked by Kava Kantina while it was closed. The adorable row of tables out front in a typically Greek alleyway caught our eye, with stunning views of the acropolis and a nearby church. We decided to come back later, and it was a fantastic decision.
Kava Kantina has an amazing wine list, and we shared a fantastic cheese board that perfectly complemented our wine. It’s the perfect spot for people-watching, with an authentic feel as the staff seemed to know all the locals passing by. We had great conversations with the staff, who were incredibly friendly.
Neither of these wine bars popped up on other blogs or recommendations we’d seen, so we wanted to give them a real shoutout. And, as with all of Greece, there were plenty of adorable cats running around, adding to the charm. The cheese board at Kava Kantina was honestly so, so good.
